When Dave Erickson gets off work at the Asheville Wine Market in lovely downtown Asheville, NC, he goes home and begins to practice. He's not practicing medicine or law or even wine appreciation. Dave is practicing on his bass guitar. This is one of the things that he's found that his current job allows him to do....be in the music business.

Dave's had quite a run. Writing in multiple trade journals in New Jersey and Boston. Flying internationally to promote medical trade shows where he was wined and dined by people hoping to catch his eye and palate for their city. But it wasn't until he took a wine appreciation course in Boston before he found his true (or at least current) calling. Upon graduation, he worked at a very busy wine and liquor store in Boston where he cut his teeth on good wine and learned from one of the best in the Wine business.

But then Asheville, NC called and he answered and found a nice, cozy home at the Asheville Wine Market where he cleans the windows, stocks and shelves and impresses patrons with his good humor and good knowledge of wine.
