Tom Rioux spent many years painting houses in Pennsylvania before succumbing to toxic exposure from the painting chemicals. Sick and bedridden, he figured out that yoga and a positive, vegatarian diet would allow him to enter the world again. His move to Asheville, NC allowed him to explore the spiritual side of his life and he found a place where healthful foods and lifestyles are a matter of course.

His love and interest in paint and the painting industry brought him to a different part of the painting business and before long he had started Earthpaints: a company which manufactures paint and sealers which are naturally based and easy both on the environment and the contractor.
