After attending college in Georgia, Lori worked as a stage manager in Chicago and Washington, DC. At one point, she realized that hadn't done anything creative for herself in several years. Armed with a tax incentive check, she took a pottery class and that was that. She knew she had to figure out a way to put pottery center stage.

She moved to Asheville, North Carolina because of its natural beauty and reputation for being a haven for artists. Now, Lori is the owner of Crazy Green Pottery, the studio where she displays her work, throws pots and teaches classes. You couldn't find a happier person
